History of the Pewter Gallery

The Pewter Gallery was originally dreamed up in 1992.  One of the founders was an avid collectors of pewter and was having a difficult time finding resources for interesting and quality pewter pieces.  Unfortunately, the economy was poor, and we were turned down for a business loan to open up a brick and mortar store.  We tried to work around it by starting small and working out of our home, but this really went nowhere.

Then the Internet started, and so in 1998, we opened a small Internet site.  We have been operating continuously since then, doing online what we were not able to do previously.  This is the third reincarnation of the Pewter Gallery website.  To this site we've added shopping cart software, a brand-new browse-by-category tree, and much, much more. 

Only with the help of our customers can be grow and be a success.  If you have any concerns about the site, questions you'd like to ask, or products you'd like to see here, or anything else, please let us know.  We'd be happy to hear from you!
