Japanese

 

Of the twelve languages I've formally studied, my second favourite so far would have to be Japanese.  While in grad school, I did research on Japanese Mimetics. It was presented at conferences, and I used it in my math masters as well.  I will post it here as I dig it out.  In the meantime, here are some Japanese-related language links.
