There is not a single standard funeral service, but rather a collection of elements, many of which have several choices, that can be built to construct a relatively personalized ceremony.  Families can choose from these standard elements, or modify them on their own as they see fit.  (More extensive modifications may add to the cost or reduce the time for the actual service.)  I find that funerals work best in the absence of lots of religion and prayers when there are family and friends can get up and tell stories about what they remember about the deceased.

Longer distances charge the base rate plus $0.50 per mile, and overnight stay, if applicable (for rehearsal, etc.).
