Lifelong Learning Astronomy
Astronomy is my one true love, I'm afraid. I've wanted to study it since I was about seven, and even though I've gone on to get several degrees in different subjects and have something of a career teaching math, the truth is, I just miss it too much. I will never really be happy until I do this, so I moved to Columbus, Ohio so that I could attend Ohio State University's astronomy program, and even at my age, here I am. Classes started last quarter. Winter quarter, it's stars and galaxies. Whee! Because my main love is Planets, that subcategory has its own special collection of pages. Because I have a minor in Physics, too, (and will probably end up with a double major as well now) I have some collected physics stuff here. You will find here useful links (below), and some original content as well. I have some astronomy themed poems. I have some history of astronomy/science papers and presentations I've given linked in the right margin. And, as I work my way through the astronomy program, I'll be adding more stuff. Among the things coming soon will be a page dedicated to Triton. I worked on an independent study this summer, so as soon as I have my paper for it finished and graded, I'll post that. More on the same topic should come out of the writing course I'm taking this fall.
