Giftedness & the Gifted

Someone once told me that I had learned something so quickly that if I had been born in the middle ages, I would have been burned at the stake for being a witch, for surely I would have had to sell my soul to the devil to have done something like that.  Few people put it so directly that the consequences of being profoundly gifted are sometimes wondrous, and in the same breath, something of a curse.  These pages will explore my journey as one of the "freaks".

I was one of those people who grew up gifted.  The pages of this section of my site are destined to contain items related to giftedness.  These items will include links to high IQ societies--those I belong to at least--as well as personal stories, anecdotes, and other support information for the gifted and families raising gifted children.
