Summary and Reflections: It was a busy quarter! I will have evaluations coming from Math 148 (it was the first time I taught the course at Columbus State), and for Math 150 (since during the shortened summer course, my requested evals arrived two weeks after the course ended!). I was trying some new things this term, with a couple in-class exercises combined with a homework notebook, rather than weekly or biweekly homework submissions. It seemed to work well, so I'll try it again in the spring. Student Comments: She explains material well. She is a fair teacher and answers questions well. She's the best instructor for a class as difficult as this. The math department should hire more instructors like this. Answers any questions you have. Willing to help. Explains things well and is very patient with students. She knows the material very well. Helps students to understand the material by going over it thoroughly. She is good at what she does and is very clear when answering questions. Professor is fair, easy to get along with, willing to provide extra help if needed. Very nice and funny. Holds attention well. She presented the information in a fashion that explained material
to all learning styles.
