Summary and Reflections:
Fall A:  DeVry Weighted Average for Math 114: 3.57 , Math 114: 3.66
Teaching two sections of the same course was kinda nice.  Easy to keep track of where everyone was supposed to be, but a little confusing when I was trying to track down a student.  I managed to threaten people enough to get nearly everyone to sign their emails, but no one knew which section they were in, so it could take time to track them down anyway, until the end, when my guesses started getting better.

Fall B:  DeVry Weighted Average for Math 032: 3.57   For Math 114: 3.73
Both courses went really smoothly this term!

Student Comments:
Fall A:
The instructor was very good about giving feedback and answering questions. Although discussions are not required in this class, she still actively praticipated [sic] by answering questions from students. I also enjoyed receiving progress reports via email. This showed me that she was accessable [sic] and paying attention to our recommended work schedule requirements.

I appreciated the fact that Besty [sic] was direct and to the point. She was also very prompt.

The instructor provided answers to questions very quickly, knows the material, and is willing to help when necessary.

Betsy communicated on a weekly basis and her progress reports were personal rather than just generic email. I really appreciated her feedback!

...she was very helpful when I did talk to her, and she kept us updated on our progress weekly, and was always there if we had questions.

Betsy is a great instructor.

Fall B:
Whenever I needed Ms. McCall she was there.

The instructor was available and responsive to any communication from the students and always responded in a timely fashion.

She was always available, answered emails quickly and answered in a way that clearly answered the question. She was even available to take a call from me on a Friday night, which I really appreciated!

Communication skills were excellent. She really cared about our progress and offered assistance continually.
