Novels

I've published four novels so far.  They are, admittedly, self-published.  But I write for myself, and I don't have the patience for the professional publishing process.  I hear horror stories about people waiting 15 years to get their first novel published.  That's not for me.  And I'm not really interested in writing short stories to break into the science fiction and fantasy market the usual way.  If other people like what I write, that's great.  If not, well, that's fine, too.

My own critical opinion of my novels is that the first one probably needs some editing, and with the perspective of a decade, I think I know what needs fixed, if only I had time.  The other three are much better... not surprisingly, since I had no idea what I was doing on the first one.  Of the four of them, I would rank Janus as the best, and The Dragons' Lord as the second best to date.
