Welcome to BetsyMcCall.net.

The site has been moved from http://www.betsy-mccall.com, so please update your links.  All the contents of the old site has been moved over here, reorganized in a way that I hope makes more sense, and some new content has been added.

This website contains the following major components: a Professional section, a Lifelong Learning section, a Personal section, and a business section.

Professional section: contains my Teaching Portfolio and current courses, along with my writing, including an incomplete Writing Portfolio.  The Writing section contains links to some academic work as well as unpublished materials and my novels.

Business section: contains examples of past websites, including some that were designed for organizations (wherein I was webmaster), as well as business websites (these are mostly shutdown at the moment).

Lifelong Learning section: contains links to topics I have studied including research, papers I've written, and general information on these topics.  All the things in this section I have either pursued/am pursuing a degree in, have a degree in, have received a certificate in, or have researched in an academic capacity.  Am I an expert on these things? Well, that depends on who you are comparing me to, I suppose.

Personal section: contains information about me, as well as interests that I haven't formally pursued academically (yet!).  This goes everywhere from baseball to wine, and history of science to recipes, and crochet.

Sometimes people ask me, why all this stuff?  My only answer is "Why not?"
