Lifelong Learning Astronomy Observatories & Planetaria
One option for those who can't afford their own scopes is to visit observatories or planetaria in your area. Check out your local science museum, because it's their job to know where they are in your area; and they may even have one of their own. Plus, you can take tours of even working observatories during the day when they are not in use... that is, if they are earthbound! Hubble isn't the only one in orbit these days.
