Math Notes

This page will provide links to my notes on mathematics.

Courses

Since the start of the pandemic, I've been teaching a lot of classes over Zoom, and as part of that, I've been using Word as my "white board" for lectures.  Gotten pretty good at that equation editor through it all. When the lecture is over, I've been posting the notes documents produced so that students can follow along with the videos. Those videos need editing and are too long to post publicly, but the links below will direct you to the pages where the class notes can be found. The syllabus posted on those pages should help you determine what topics are covered by which set of notes. I make no promises that the content is 100% error free (I'm certain it's not), but it should be well above 96%. :) The links are sorted by topic. More may get added if I am able to continue teaching over Zoom, or if I get new classes to prep (like Applied Stats with R), which I'll have to prepare for extensively in advance. I can't really do coding examples on the fly just yet.

Miscellaneous Topics

The links below are a couple of stand-alone topics I started working on as webpages rather than separate handouts. They were mostly pretty early on in my teaching so they probably need edits.  As I teach certain topics, I will write pages intended to help student work through problems on various topics.  These pages I intend to provide a brief description of the topic, and then some problems worked in detail, along with some pointers and key words to look for. Topics are listed in alphabetical order.  These pages are currently under construction, and many of the pages may have content only to the extent that there are links to other online resources on these topics.  The other content will be filled in as I have the opportunity.

Complex Numbers
Counting Methods
Writing Numbers and Bases (incomplete)
