The beginning of wisdom is found in doubting; by doubting we come to the question, and by seeking we may come upon the truth.

For students who are not currently in my courses, I am available for tutoring.  (Students in my courses may come to my offices hours and receive some free assistance.)

Potential tutorees (please don't say "tutees") should understand that I charge $20/hr/person for one hour week if students will come to me on campus during the week, and $30/hr if I have to go to you either on weekends and/or off-campus.  Discounts can be arranged for small groups and for students interested in two or more hours per week.  I've been tutoring math since I was 16 for pay (starting at $6/hr then), and I have a lot of experience.  I also have a masters degree.  I have experience tutoring pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, differential equations, GMAT, basic probability and statistics, and physics.  I have taught recitations for calculus, differential equations, introduction to theoretical math/analysis and algebra.  I am also capable of tutoring for linear algebra, applied math, vector analysis, basic abstract algebra.

If you are concerned about my abilities, you may contact Sara Syed.  I've tutored her and her two children. (It may take a couple days for a response.)

Also, see my past courses page for additional information about my teaching evaluations.
