II, Math 1030
Course Description (from the College):
This is the second course of a two-semester sequence. It covers the study
of graphs of linear equations and inequalities in two variables, systems
of equations and inequalities in two variables, applications and modeling,
properties of exponents, scientific notation, polynomial arithmetic,
factoring, solving polynomial equations. Course also presents applications
and activities to build skills in problem solving. Lecture: 3 hours
Prerequisite: MATH 1020; minimum grade of “C” or placement by
completion of MATH 1099 (MATH 1020 module)
